We are a local, independent, family owned and operated gentle home pet euthanasia service provider, servicing parts of the Greater Brisbane Region.

We are a small, independent, family-owned and operated gentle home pet euthanasia service, proudly serving parts of the Greater Brisbane Region. Being a local and small business allows us to provide a personal, caring, and high-quality service, tailored to each pet and family we care for.

In 2022, we faced the heartbreaking experience of losing our beloved dog, Broccoli. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult, and we understand the deep grief and emotional weight that comes with making one of life’s hardest decisions. We are grateful that we were able to provide Broccoli with end-of-life care in the comfort and privacy of our home, where he was calm, happy, and at ease. This experience inspired us to offer the same peaceful, compassionate care to other families during this stage of their pet’s journey.

As a veterinarian focused on end-of-life care, I have chosen this path because it is deeply rewarding. I understand that pets are family. They share our lives, routines, joys, and sorrows. Making the decision for euthanasia is one of the heaviest responsibilities a guardian can face, often accompanied by self-doubt, anticipatory grief, and profound emotional pain.

Our role is to walk alongside families during this difficult time, providing care, comfort, and guidance. I approach every end-of-life stage with empathy, respect, and love, recognising both the sadness and the gratitude these moments bring. While these times are deeply challenging, they are also filled with devotion, commitment, and the opportunity to honour the life and love shared with a cherished companion.

Having experienced the loss of our own pets, I also know what it is like to be on the other side of the consultation, trusting a veterinarian with a beloved family member. This perspective shapes the care I provide: gentle, thoughtful, and focused on ensuring a peaceful passing for every dog and cat in my care, surrounded by the love and comfort of home.

We consider it a privilege to support families during this stage, helping pets to pass peacefully, with dignity and love.

Our team is made up of compassionate and dedicated animal lovers who all share the same passion to help animals. Our vets and nurses are very highly experienced and we do everything we can to ensure a peaceful passing for your pet.

We are built on a foundation of integrity, transparency, kindness, and respect. These values guide our interactions with one another, our community, and in all aspects of life.We celebrate individuality and strive to create a safe and welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable.

Our mission is to support you and your pet through this difficult chapter with love and compassion, and we feel privileged to offer this service.

Why is it called “Love & Toe Beans”?

For those who haven’t heard the term before, “toe beans” are the soft little paw pads on a dog or cat’s feet. When you look at them from underneath, they really do resemble tiny little beans; cute, squishy, and full of character.

We wanted a name that captured the warmth, love, and joy that pets bring into our lives, while also reflecting the gentle, caring approach we take in everything we do. “Love & Toe Beans” felt just right, a name from the heart that celebrates the small, everyday details that make pets so special.

It’s a reminder that our work is all about love, care, and the little things that make a big difference to our furry family members.

We believe it is better to say goodbye to our dear friends in the comfort of their own home where they feel safe and happy. It is our responsibility as their guardians to relieve their suffering when the time comes and ensure them a peaceful passing.
